Melanie Hofstrom

Melanie is a lifelong teacher, trainer, manager and advocate for what is possible in another person’s life. A longtime educator and school administrator, she has dedicated herself to moving young people towards a future beyond what they envisioned for themselves. Now committed to personal performance and leadership coaching, she consults with career professionals and retirees on discovering their purpose, accessing their power and creating the lives that truly serve them and the people they love.

A graduate of William Smith College, Melanie holds a master’s degree from the Citadel and served as Principal of a local primary school. Today, she splits time between Livswell, her private coaching practice, and her role as a positive climate coach for the Charleston County School District, providing comprehensive and coordinated learning supports for all students and teachers. She is married to Erik, with whom she shares two beautiful children and a passion for travel and authentic experiences, wherever and whenever they occur.
